In addition to providing personal training in clients' homes, Svensson has launched an online program (nordicbody.com) in the middle of a pandemic — and she has Lily Tomlin to thank. “In March 2020, Lily was nervous about working out in person,” Svensson recalls. “She said, 'Can I start working out online?'” I'm open-minded. Suzanne Jankovic, a film marketing executive and Weird Al's wife, introduced her best friend Curtis to Svensson last summer. “She’s new to the Marin administration, but I’m so glad I got to meet her and soak in her program before heading off to her various jobs,” Curtis says. “She is a great advocate for us to embrace our strength, flexibility and mental agility, no matter our age.” Yankovic added: “Beyond her obvious expertise, leadership and passion, Marin is fun, quick, direct, encouraging and innovative. She gets it.”
