An unexpected fitness journey to train with your childhood idol
In a recent interview with Shin Min Daily News, the 36-year-old revealed that he has been undergoing training. Zheng Geping Vincent Ng has been training since February and hopes to reach his fitness goals by his birthday on March 12 next year.
He also said that although he had been watching Zheng's shows since he was a child, he never imagined that he would one day train with him and Ng.
Lim also revealed that Jeremy Chan, who underwent body modification for his role in the drama “All That Glitters,” is also part of the group, which is why he has such a good body. I joked.
Balance strength training, dietary flexibility, and career change
Elaborating further on his fitness journey so far, Lim said: I feel stronger now after exercising. Next year I will complete my body modification and gain weight and muscle. ”
But for now, Lim said: Shin Min That he's not on a diet.
“I don't control my diet now. I don't go on a diet unless I have a competition or a shoot scheduled. In addition to the gym, I also box twice a week,” he said.
Lim began his weight loss journey in 2016 after becoming famous for his role in Ah Boys to Men. She was also motivated by the fact that her friends called her “Ah Pui” (meaning “fat” in Hokkien).
At the time, he told The New Paper that he had lost 11kg after two and a half months after changing his diet and taking Muay Thai classes.
“I wanted to lose weight because if you change your perspective, you can change your career and take on other different roles,” he added at the time.
