2. Set realistic expectations. Understand that not everything will go perfectly. Set realistic expectations for yourself and others. Remember that the essence of Eid is to spend time with loved ones and celebrate the end of Ramadan.
3. Manage your finances: Financial strain can be a major source of stress during Eid. Make a budget for Eid expenses like food, gifts, clothing, etc. and stick to it to avoid overspending.
4. Delegate tasks: Don’t be afraid to delegate tasks like cooking, cleaning, and decorating to family and friends. Sharing the responsibilities will lighten your load and make the preparations more enjoyable.
5. Stay healthy: Eat nutritious food, stay hydrated, get enough sleep, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid eating too many sweets or heavy foods, as this can affect your energy levels and mood.
6. Stay connected: Ask friends and family for support. Share your thoughts and feelings with them and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Connecting with loved ones can provide comfort and perspective during stressful times.
7. Value gratitude.: Take time to reflect on the blessings in your life and express gratitude. Focusing on the positive aspects of Eid will change your perspective and reduce stress.
8. Celebrate in moderation: While it is natural to enjoy festive foods and events during Eid, moderation is key. Pace yourself and avoid attending too many social gatherings and events. Prioritize your health and enjoying the celebration.
