The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
The AAP specifies a maximum of 8.00 for this permanent material. AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with their degree of participation in activities.
This activity is allowed up to a maximum of 8.00 AAP credits. These credits can be applied towards AAP CME/CPD Awards available to AAP Fellows and Candidate Members.
Upon successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the assessment component, learners can earn up to 8.00 MOC points in the American Academy of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintain Accreditation (MOC) program. It is the CME activity her provider’s responsibility to submit the learner’s completion information to her ACCME for the purpose of awarding ABP MOC credit.
Note: Completion data will be shared with ABP through the ACCME PARS system within 30 days of completion. This includes activity and provider names. Participant name; Participant’s her ABP ID number. date of birth of the participant; completion date of the activity; PARS activity identifier; ABP MOC part 2 credit statement and number of her MOC points awarded. PAs can claim up to 8.00 Category 1 credits to complete this activity. NCCPA accepts sweet PRA Category 1 Credits™ From an organization accredited by ACCME or an accredited state medical association.
The program is accredited for 8.00 NAPNAP CE contact hours, of which 0.50 hours are pharmacological (Rx) content (0.00 related to psychopharmacology) per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines ( 1.50) related to controlled substances. AAP is designated as Agency #A17. At the end of the program, each participant desiring contact time with NAPNAP must send a completed Certificate of Attendance to [email protected]. Her $15 payment for NAPNAP members and non-members must be paid by credit card for all her NAPNAP contact hour requests. Please keep this certificate for her record for 6 years. Requests for certificate duplication must be made to the AAP.
