A man who ate nothing but red meat and eggs for a year explained why he decided to stop dieting.

After struggling with his weight for a while, Patrick Ensley decided to change his diet and thought it was time for a change.

Before the diet he weighed 300 pounds (21.4 stone) and was depressed.

But then he decided to follow a carnivore diet for a year, and the results were amazing.

Changing your diet isn’t unusual, but this one is a little extreme, as an HVAC technician in Nebraska, USA, started a full carnivore diet.

A carnivore diet typically focuses on eating only animal foods (meat, poultry, eggs, fish, some types of dairy products, and water). According to Heath line with no green in sight.

And Patrick found it very beneficial for health. He has lost 140 pounds (10 stone), almost half his original weight, and his 57-inch stomach is now down to 19 inches.

He went on to share in a YouTube video detailing his progress that he was unable to play with his 2-year-old son, who was 1 at the time, because of his weight.

“But now I can come home and throw my 2-year-old son around on the couch, swing him upside down, and play with his favorite fun activities like trucks and trains, and I still have energy. “From my family. ” Patrick said.

However, after the makeover, he felt “refreshed” and “pain free”, but decided to call it quits.

According to a video updated on his channel in June, that’s because he’s close to his “goal weight” and is currently in the “maintenance phase,” wondering if he should continue.

He said, “I have about 15 to 20 pounds left to reach my goal, but the difference between then and now is incredible.”

His video highlighted three reasons why he was no longer considered a carnivore, the first being that he “didn’t want to be a carnivore just for the sake of being a carnivore.”

He said he just “just wants to do what feels best for his body,” and sometimes that’s not what would typically be considered a carnivore.

He also uses spices and seasonings that aren’t considered “carnivorous” and plans to introduce more foods, such as fruit, to see how his body reacts, but he’s still “95% carnivore.” He says he plans to become one.

He’s happy with his progress, but wants to make sure his diet is sustainable in the long term and doesn’t cause any harm.

Finally, he revealed that he has now “achieved his goal” and doesn’t want to be restricted to a strict diet for the rest of his life.

Honestly, that’s a good reason to quit all that.
