The world is getting smarter. Why not dinner?that’s the problem adam goodfriend He’s been asking people these days, having flown out of the gate with his newly rebranded company.
GoodFriend (formerly Kosher Made Simple) was conceived and born during the COVID-19 shutdown. With restaurants closed and people staying at home, he pulled out a notebook and started jotting down ideas. Looking down at his pen and paper, he stared back at the need for a premium kosher meal kit company to prepare for the pandemic and its aftermath.
“While many other areas of our lives have made dramatic advances, the way home cooks make chicken schnitzel and mashed potatoes is much the same as they did 50 or even 100 years ago.” says Goodfriend, a member of the Chabad community in Mondsee, New York.
As with any entrepreneurial endeavor, the journey from concept to reality is often unknown.Goodfriend reached out to CHYE and Ravi early on. Yehoshua Verde They provided advice and feedback on many issues. Rabbi Verde appointed him a business mentor. Itsy Geysinski (of Alacrity Energy and Milano Wigs) for providing further guidance and support, especially through the recent rebranding decision and process. “I am grateful that I had the awareness that I needed to utilize Hashem’s services. Yitzy has been so generous with his time and advice. I am truly amazed,” he said, adding that he was able to provide practical assistance. He added that he received the right balance of advice, encouragement, and support. Shlomo Klein Fleishigs magazine and Yakov Yarmouv Professors at Albertsons also provided guidance along the way. What was important in the decision to rebrand was: Chaya Lichtenstein (ChezChaya) And when it was time to take the plunge, Goodfriend turned to Man Sales Company and Jack Levinson, the kosher world’s leading branding and marketing firm.
And according to Moshe and Emily Tikotsky: “Dinner has never been so delicious. I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I have been ordering dinner for two weeks in a row now and we were absolutely amazed at the quality of each meal.” Everything is so flavorful and fresh, and it gets even better every night. Thank you for making dinners that are not only delicious, but fun with new menus every week, making dinners fun and stress-free!”
Typical users of this service include households with two working parents, people recovering from childbirth or illness, small households that don’t want leftover food, young couples just starting a family, and teenagers who like to cook. , busy families, and more. “If people want convenience, they can always make frozen fish sticks or pizza. That makes sense, but most people don’t want to do that five days a week. What we had to do was make the dinnertime routine easier and at the same time improve the quality. They know how to source, store, cut, and brine food. They know where and what to buy. For example, they can order bread from one place and fish from another. and ordering vegetables from multiple places and kosher specialty items from different places. While that makes sense to us, it’s not suitable for home cooking, especially for weeknight dinners. This is the service we provide. At the end of the day, you can easily create restaurant-quality food at home, cooked just the way you want it.”
