Gabriella Hughes, an integrative healer and holistic nutritionist, specializes in combining nutrition and spirituality to tackle everything from maintaining energy levels to managing weight loss. Her clients include “people with fast-paced lives who want to fix things or change things,” she says.
Trained at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, the 28-year-old is based between Hong Kong, England and Cyprus. She conducts her 80-minute Zoom assessment with the client to assess the biochemical, emotional, and spiritual issues the client poses to create a customized nutritional plan. “I’m committed to changing people’s habits and I love my job,” she says.
When clients start changing their diets according to these plans, “the first thing that changes in the body is the biochemistry,” says Hughes. Inflammation levels in the stomach are generally reduced, and hormones associated with emotional regulation in the body are more optimally balanced.
