New CBD shop opens in Idaho Falls
IDAHO FALLS – Sean Crystal was introduced to CBD products when he was 13 years old. He continued to study his industry over the years and is currently a CBD retailer in Idaho Falls.
Founded by a 35-year-old Ammonite 710 spectrum It opened as a mobile store in September 2022. In April, it became a permanent location at 1582 North Holmes Avenue.
Crystal told EastIdahoNews.com that the public response to his business over the past 20 months has been “phenomenal.”
The business sells a variety of products, from topicals and tinctures to lotions, body creams, and cooling gels. There are alternative products for smokers and tobacco users, as well as edible products such as suckers, gummies, and honey sticks.
“We are the first shop to specialize in the broadest, full spectrum of hemp-derived cannabis products. 80% of our product line cannot be found anywhere else in the state,” Crystal said. Masu. “We are the first distributor of our Canadip products (tobacco substitutes) in the state of Idaho, as well as the first distributors of Delta CBD and RAD extracts (from organic seeds to retail products).”
His wife, Chelsea Olsen, also sells bracelets, earrings, pens and other items in the store.
It’s legal to sell CBD products in Idaho, but the law requires that the delta-9 THC content (the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant known to get people high) be less than 0.3%, Crystal said. says. That applies to all of his products, which are available to everyone over the counter, he says.
“Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found in marijuana.” According to the Centers for Disease Control. “CBD is not harmful to the body; it does not cause a ‘high’.”
Crystal started using CBD products out of curiosity. Over the years, he noticed personal health benefits from using them and learned of others who were also getting benefits. That led him to become an advocate and open a retail store.
Although Idaho has not legalized the use of medical marijuana, Crystal, a candidate for Congress in the upcoming Republican primary, is a strong supporter of marijuana and wants to see it enforced.

“For the past 10 years, support for medical marijuana has been in the 68% to 74% range in Idaho, but our state legislators have not listened to us in the slightest. Two governors in a row have said, We said it wouldn’t happen on our watch,” Crystal said.
During a meeting at City Hall During DecemberSen. Dave Lent, R-33rd District, said legalizing marijuana for medical purposes will ultimately lead to increased drug use and addiction, creating a “new burden on society,” a pattern he has seen in other states. He explained that he would be required to do so.
Congressman Marco Erickson, who has worked with substance abuse patients for more than 30 years, agreed and said he would block any attempts to advance this type of legislation as long as he remains in office.
“I’ve seen too much and I can never allow the state of Idaho to go in that direction,” Erickson said. “I’m really proud to go to a national event and see Idaho show up (as the lone holdout on this issue).”
As he continues his campaign, Mr Crystal wants to introduce a legal framework for what is primarily a “self-regulating industry”. He is working on a bill that he hopes will put some licensing and age requirements on the CBD and hemp industry.
“Other than obtaining a processor and handler permit, we don’t need an actual retail license. We don’t want to put our product in (everyone’s) hands. We don’t want our kids to have our product. We want people to limit their intake of e-cigarettes and tobacco products,” Crystal said.
He also favors a 3% use tax, with half going toward infrastructure and the other half toward education.
Since the Idaho Falls store is small, Crystal expects the business to continue to grow. He hopes the store will eventually become a “flagship” for other stores in the state.
710 Spectrum is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Website or Facebook page For more information.
