Lawyer shares five questions a narcissist cannot truthfully answer

by Universalwellnesssystems

A lawyer reveals five things that every narcissist has a hard time answering for various reasons.

Narcissism is a term that has become increasingly popular in recent years as we learn more and more about how it affects people’s behavior.

Experts share what signs to look out for in a narcissist, and narcissists themselves reveal what to look out for to identify a narcissist.

But what happens when a narcissist is put in a situation where they have to tell the truth no matter what?

Now, based on her experience in the courtroom, attorney Rebecca Dung has revealed five types of questions that narcissists can’t answer truthfully and why it bothers them so much.

announced by legal experts article Her website aims to educate the public on how narcissists can behave, even in court.

Anything related to truth

“They can’t answer anything that concerns the truth,” Dung said damningly at the beginning of his explanation.

She explains that narcissists are not only pathological liars, but they will lie about literally anything. That includes things you don’t have to lie about and even things that can be easily verified.

Dung told the story of a 14-year-old son who was kicked out of his mother’s house at 1 a.m. after her mother threw a tantrum and threw her belongings out into the front yard. As they were in the middle of a divorce.

The mother then sent an email saying it was the “best thing to do” to help everyone “calm down” and even told her to call the school bus to pick up her son from home instead.

“She then filed a complaint and wrote a sworn statement that her husband stole her child and basically kidnapped him and took him away without her permission,” Zung shockingly revealed, adding that the email said he easily disproved her claims.

The lawyer said the mother would not be able to answer, and said narcissists like her prefer to “deny, deflect and project” unless it is their fault.

something that celebrates the accomplishments of others

Dung cites examples of organizing a great party or coming up with a creative idea at work, but it would be hard to blame others for it.

If you ask them, “What is this person contributing to my life, or what benefits am I receiving from this person?” they won’t be able to answer, she says.

“It’s really the most extreme state of scarcity mentality. And, as I said before, in my opinion, narcissists, there are actually pathological people who are diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. And , it’s actually a legitimate personality disorder,” Zung explains. .

We can all be selfish or feel guilty at times out of a desire to be seen and heard, but narcissists will always do anything to achieve these feelings. says the lawyer.

She describes their sense of self as “fragile” and reiterates that it’s “really hard for them to say that this person is really good at this field or that my life is so much better because of this person.” .

All about losing and failing

Because they distort reality, they are basically unable to accept that they have failed at something.

Zung describes their way of thinking as “magical” and explains that it is part of the DSM-5 diagnosing method for narcissists.

By distorting reality, they live in their own world, and blaming them for losing or failing at something is simply impossible to have a conversation with.

Questions that involve shame or weakness

Dung says narcissists guard these feelings to the death and have a “huge sense of shame” due to their fragile sense of self, which they protect because they want people to think this person is them.

The contrast between the vulnerable and fearful person they are on the inside and the strong, overconfident person they portray on the outside is very stark.

However, it highlights that if she is a covert narcissist, they may have an underlying layer of anger and portray themselves as more of a victim.

Anything that involves interaction with others

According to their lawyers, they have difficulty interacting with others and maintaining relationships.

Narcissists strongly dislike being asked about their relationships with others, as they have difficulty defining friendships and intimacy.

What do you see when you ask these questions?

Expect vague answers, gaslighting, and lots of lies and denials.

You may also project on others by blaming or shaming them or trying to throw you off course because you want to be uncertain and insecure.

In court negotiations, Dung says, it’s very obvious because you’re either with them or against the narcissist in their head.

If they sense that you are against them, they will attack you and try to make you believe that you cannot see what is happening in front of you.
