Clarkson, 42, responded by sharing her own story. “Doctors hounded me for about two years and I was like, ‘No, I’m scared. I already have thyroid issues,'” she said. “Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic, but it’s not.”
Instead, Clarkson said, “I used something else that helped my body break down sugar. Clearly my body wasn’t breaking it down properly.”
She said that at her heaviest she weighed 203 pounds (14.5 stone), but decided to start losing weight after watching her own performance and not recognising who she was on screen.
“When you see that, you think, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s going to have a heart attack and die,'” Clarkson said.
