Today, Jennifer Aniston says she has been “the most shape” for a long time, thanks to her favorite workout routine.
The 56-year-old actor is unfamiliar with fitness. But after decades of pushing “too hard” at the gym, she says she’s now listening to her body and focusing on less impactful workouts.
Aniston doesn’t praise his current physique for his high-tech workout machines or ultra-exclusive training classes, but instead it’s a simple, full-body routine that can be done in your home, in a hotel room or anywhere, within an hour.
Aniston encourages others to embrace accessible and effective on-the-go training through her partnership. pvolvea full-body fitness method that combines low-impact exercises and resistance equipment. On April 10th, Pvolve and Aniston launched a new one.”Sculpture everywhere“A campaign and travel bundle.
Aniston recently spoke to Today.com about her current training routine and how her approach to fitness has changed over time.
Low impact, full body engraving exercises
Aniston loves to confuse things, but her favorite go-to routine at the moment is called “sculpture and burns.” This will blend heart strengthening exercises low to improve power, stability and overall heart health. “You can hit every part of your body quite efficiently,” Aniston says.
“I love how I start my workout with a big open mind (pose), and I go into a shifted stance, my arms open and twisted, all my joints mobilised warmly.”
The workout utilizes simple equipment such as ankle bands and gliders, as well as weight exercises such as boards, and the guided 50-minute sessions easily fit in on her day. “You can curate your training by taking into account the time, space, equipment and the parts of your body you want to exercise,” Aniston says.
Aniston says it’s important that she be able to maintain her routine when she’s on the go – this is almost always. The actor says she always brings a travel bag with a few lightweight equipment to get full body workouts from anywhere.
Aniston is a fan of low-weight, high-rep exercises, but she also says she learned about the importance of strength training with heavier weights. “It’s important to build muscle for bone support and joint support (especially as you get older,” Aniston says.
This exercise routine was a game changer for Aniston. Aniston hopes he has learned about the benefits of impactful training early in his life. “They are not only friendly, but also effective,” Aniston says.
I’m listening to your body
“I want to do this kind of training in my 20s and 30s because I don’t have all the injuries I have.
“I actually broke joints from running and boxing…and I don’t put any of them (training)…but for me, I personally go hard.”
Aniston’s current goal is to exercise efficiently without causing harm to her body, especially in the past few years that have exacerbated her previous back injuries since 2021.
“I did the movie and got hurt towards the end. I was working on this harness, and I had that kind of old hip injury,” Aniston says.
With the encouragement of a friend, she attempted a less influential resistance training. “I was able to rehabilitate the injuries by strengthening everything around me, so I didn’t just sit on the bench and wait for a healing injury as usual,” Aniston says.

Today, Aniston says she is uninjured and feels better than ever. “I personally find myself the strongest and most in good health I’ve ever had,” Aniston says.
Now, Aniston always listens to her body first and coordinates her training with the help of her trainer, Pvolve’s Dani Coleman. “Get your body and make your pain your guide,” she says.
Aniston left the hard and fast gym mantra she lived in when she was younger in the past. “I always thought you had to push your body. It should be an hour and a half. It’s all we were told, ‘There’s no pain or profit,’ and that’s just not,” Aniston says.
“We don’t have to break our bodies or spend hours at the gym. …We need to be by our side because we want this body to carry us through the rest of our lives and through the second and third acts.”
