Ivanka Trump’s ‘luxury personal trainer’ is shedding light on how her former eldest daughter stays fit.
Texas-based trainer Sandy Brockman recently said the 42-year-old lifts weights four days a week, occasionally adding a yoga day.
“Ivanka is great. She’s being who she is and learning how to strength train, which is pretty bad,” says Brockman, 52. told the Daily Mail.
During training sessions, Trump typically sticks to the same five exercises and changes the weight depending on his goals at the time.
“The movements are always the same: deadlift, back squat, hinge, press, pull-up,” Brockman revealed.
The trainer said everyone’s strength levels are different, but that athletes should aim to add weight.
“The minimum strength goals I strive for with my clients include 5 strict push-ups, 2 strict pull-ups, 1 bodyweight barbell back squat, 1 bodyweight barbell deadlift, and 1 45-pound barbell overhead press. ” she said.
While most women are drawn to just doing cardio, Brockman encouraged them to give the weight room a try.
“Women really need strength training, and building endurance feels good for women,” she says. told the outlet. “Running feels good for us, but sitting and building strength can actually help women get stronger.”
Trump’s strength training sessions typically last an hour, but Brockman said his celebrity clients’ choices outside the gym are just as important when it comes to building muscle and maintaining a toned body.
“We don’t want women to go hungry,” she explained. “I want them to have a constant flow of protein through their bodies.”
The personal trainer said he tells his A-list clients to “eat 20 grams of protein every two to three hours.”
Donald Trump’s daughter gave her followers a glimpse into her workout routine last month.
Wearing an all-gray training set, the socialite showed off her perfect squat form while carrying 15 pounds on each side.
“Beautiful back squat today,” Brockman wrote above the video, which Ivanka reposted and added, “Yeah!” Let’s go! “
