Imaray Ulloa already has a wardrobe full of summer clothes, including lots of swimwear. Ulloa uses resistance bands as part of her workout routine. “It can be wrapped around your leg or arm and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Like weights, different resistances can make your workout easier or harder.” Personal Trainer Jen Skyme says:“Resistance bands engage the ‘stabilizer’ muscles. This muscle group is important because it supports large muscles and joints during exercise and helps reduce the risk of injury. It’s a safe, low-impact option for patients and is often used in rehabilitation.”
