Few people are still rigorously exercising at age 80, but legendary veteran bodybuilder Frank Zane does.
The 80-year-old shared a photo on Instagram of his younger days soaking up the sun and putting on muscle, but vowed not to let old age get in the way of his training.
The former US bodybuilding champion looks back on his glory days to encourage others to stay motivated.

Throughout his 50-year career, he has worked with other legends of the business, including Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Zayn is one of only three people in the world to beat Schwarzenegger in professional bodybuilding.
The veteran muscle man earned a coveted spot on the “Top 10 Legends of Bodybuilding” and his rightful space in the Bodybuilding Hall of Fame.
Today, he shares his wisdom online, often serving as a performance coach to millions.
Recently, he said the secret to his success was to focus on “the quality of the set, not the weight or number of reps.”
He also told his followers, “Never fail, strive to succeed, and perform the final repetition of a set in perfect form before stopping and resting to the maximum before the next set.” I encourage you to strive to do so.
His fans flooded the comments section regarding his ancestral thirst trap. One person wrote, “You are a living witness of that.”
