Jacqueline Hooton, 61, from West Sussex, can lift twice her own weight and is encouraging other women to build strength. Even though she has osteoarthritis, this personal trainer is on a mission to prove that she can look great at any age if she puts in the effort.
She has a huge following on Instagram thanks to her positive attitude and super helpful fitness tips. But even though she looks great and helps make people feel good, she still receives cruel comments from trolls telling her not to wear shorts.
In a recent video, she revealed that keyboard warriors told her her knees were going to break, but she laughed it off. That’s because she knows that no matter how old she is, they will help her live, walk, exercise, and get the most out of life.
They’ve even helped her take on the London Marathon in the past, so they’re not that bad after all. In fact, she’s so grateful she can still use them.
Jacqueline wrote on Instagram: “So many women think they can’t wear shorts in the summer, when exercising, or as they get older. “So buckle up, because the mercury is rising. Women of all ages and all shapes and sizes will be wearing shorts. Because we can do it! That’s all we need.” It’s all about excuses.”
