The BODYBUILDING legend has shown his followers how he has maintained his aesthetic physique over the years.
Since claiming the Mr. Olympia crown in 1983, Lebanese native Samir Banute has worked hard to maintain a stellar body composition.
Bannout has made a name for himself by pioneering an era of bodybuilding that rewards lean, toned proportions, earning him the title of ‘Lion of Lebanon’.
The light heavyweight champion weighed just 196 pounds at the time of the contest, making him the last title holder for Mr. Olympia under 200 pounds.
The international athlete was recently featured on @thegoldendays Instagram page and his posts quickly amassed thousands of likes and comments.

A sliver of his iconic well-shaven mustache was even visible in the image.
“Nothing beats old school material… Pure class,” the caption read.
Fans were eager to consider the star’s amazing shape, drawing many comparisons between him and other bodybuilding legends.
Some had a hard time finding out what was wrong with Bannout’s figure.
“There is not a single flaw in this physique,” praised one admirer.
Some have suggested that the world of bodybuilding has changed dramatically in terms of what is considered the ideal body type.
“Old school guys were aesthetically beautiful. Modern guys are just big. Just my opinion,” an Instagram user claimed.
Others have analyzed the anatomical differences between Banute and his more modern competitors.

Banout’s photos in his prime were certainly impressive, but the fitness expert continues to show off his gym accomplishments in his later years.
