The legendary bodybuilder has taken the term quadfather to a new level, wowing viewers with a recent image of an amputated leg.
Since leaving the sport, Tom Platts has built a large social media presence, mentoring young athletes and showcasing his training routines.
Platts (@Tom Platts) took to his Instagram page to share what he described as a “work in progress.”
in him directorhe thanked the “wonderful doctor” who put him on a “healing journey” that included fine-tuned training days and a brand new nutrition plan.
“This happened in two weeks!” he said, referring to the striking transformation image of his chiseled thighs.
His followers soon filled the comments section with compliments and questions.

“At 86, Tom’s leg would still be shredded,” exclaimed one.
Others asked if Platts had any advice for amateurs looking to study bodybuilding.

The Golden Age bodybuilder, who previously made a name for himself with his massive quads, suggested it was important to know how to show off his best assets.

The fitness guru recalled his strategy for making sure he grabbed the audience’s attention.
“I mean, I was just going backstage and thinking about something that would make me shine,” he explained.
“And people didn’t know I was on stage. They were like, ‘I don’t know what he feels, but I want to be in! I want to be!’ It said.”
Despite Pratt’s age, the bodybuilder has proven that he can maintain his muscle mass well into retirement.
