Former President Donald Trump’s Surgeon General in charge of health says he has an interesting nutritional hack that could help him live longer.

Dr. Jerome Adams, an anesthesiologist who worked from 2017 to 2021, swears by a smoothie every day.

But it’s not a smoothie. Dr. Adams lists four specific items that he says work together to provide many benefits.

Things like spinach, almond milk, frozen fruits like strawberries and mangoes, and carrots.

Not only is this fruity drink packed with essential micronutrients, he says, but it’s also satiating so you can stop snacking.

He added, “You can literally get a day’s worth of fruits and vegetables in one smoothie.

“It doesn’t even taste like spinach. That’s my hack.

Some studies have shown that eating more fruits and vegetables can lead to a longer life. 2021 survey Studies suggest that eating five or more servings of fruits and vegetables a day is associated with a significantly reduced risk of death from heart and respiratory disease.

Eating more fruits and vegetables can also help with weight management, as produce is low in calories.
