If you’re actively trying to lose weight or get rid of belly fat, there’s a simple yet effective exercise that can help. As a man on TikTok demonstrates, simply walking every day can transform your body.
On the video-sharing platform, a man on the account “@Caloriecountingclub” showed what his body looked like before he walked 10,000 steps every day for a month, and at the end of the video, viewers were shown how much walking alone had transformed his body.
The man says:Walking 10,000 steps a day melted away 26 pounds of fat.” Before he started the weight loss programme, the man weighed 18 stone (7.3kg) and by the 30th day he was down to 16 stone (8.3kg).
By the last day, the amount of belly fat had decreased and his face looked visibly slimmer. In the video, the man used the treadmill every day to reach his goal of 10,000 steps per day.
The TikTok account noted that the video was about adding 10,000 steps to your daily routine while eating a healthy, balanced diet. Many were impressed with the results and left complimentary messages in the comments section.
Some people questioned the process, such as Jules asking, “Were you in a calorie deficit at the same time?” to which Account replied, “Yes, that’s how weight loss works.”
Others used the opportunity to share their own weight loss success stories, with MKWolf writing: “I did this for 20kg for 6 months. I lost 30kg in 6 months without missing a day.”
Jay added, “I love walking! I try to walk 10,000 steps five days a week and have lost 30 pounds,” while Lorna said, “I’ve been walking over 10,000 steps every day for 23 days now and have lost 8 pounds so far.”
Linni wrote, “I lost 20 pounds in 3 months by walking 10 kilometers a day.” Peter claimed, “I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks.” When asked how they lost the weight, they replied, “I’m in a calorie deficit, walking 15,000 steps every day, and I’m weight training to maintain muscle mass.”
