Weight loss is synonymous with rigorous training and fasting, but sometimes there are countless other methods available.

Dieters are often successful when they choose a sustainable approach that emphasizes exercise and quality food.

Lacey Beyer claims to have lost over 50 pounds in three separate sessions without any strict dieting or cardio.

She attributes her success to strength training, a healthy diet and increased protein intake.

“I don’t really like cardio, so I try to avoid it whenever I can,” she said in a YouTube video. “In fact, I’ve lost over 50 pounds three times in my life without doing cardio.”

“Don’t get me wrong, I have tried cardio as a way to lose weight.

“But overall, cardio doesn’t fuel me when I’m trying to lose weight and get in shape. But for a long time, I thought cardio was the only way to lose weight.

“There are many more effective and enjoyable ways to lose weight and keep it off.”

Lacey explained that choosing lean proteins, vegetables, and legumes can reduce inflammation, making it easier for your body to burn and retain fat.

Simply put, whole foods help your body feel fuller for longer, ultimately helping to curb unwanted cravings.

Lacey’s exercise plan:

Lacey credits her weight loss to strength training, claiming that the low-intensity workouts have “changed her life”.

“Simply put, it’s amazing,” she says. “Not only will it help you tone your body, it’ll also help you burn calories for up to 30 hours after your workout.”

“This will boost your metabolism and give you an advantage from strength training all day long.”

Certified wellness coach and Sleepopolis’ Carly Gacia asserted that low-intensity exercise is more effective for weight loss than high-intensity exercise.

She told GB News: “Low intensity exercise uses fat as fuel so burns more fat, whereas high intensity exercise burns carbohydrates as fuel so oxidizes less fat than low intensity exercise.”

“These types of exercise are usually more sustainable, meaning you can exercise for longer periods of time and burn more calories overall.

“Because these exercises are less strenuous, they’re easier to stick to and follow a routine, which leads to more consistent calorie burning and weight loss.”
