strange but true

Did you find it annoying to have stones in your shoes? Over half a century, what in your eyes?
Yes, one Spanish woman lived with a pebble in her peephole for a remarkable 54 years, which she believes has led her to be ignored by doctors for most of her life.
“I’ve seen over 20 doctors, and they all treated me like I was crazy,” said the 62-year-old patient, who identified himself only as Domi. told jampress.
This “horrible” freak accident happened in 1965 when eight-year-old Domi was playing in a field with a garden hoe.
Reportedly, she hit a rock, the pieces of which split open and flew into her eyes. Heavy bleeding continued.
But her concerns were downplayed when Ms. Domi said she went to the doctor’s office.
This gave rise to the Sisyphes story, in which the Spaniards claimed to have visited twenty doctors with similar results.
And though her eyes settled between the ages of 14 and 18, she knew the stone was still there, so she continued to see doctors.
She said she went to a “specialist” after suffering eye pain when she was 28, who asked her about her mental health.
In another futile visit in 1996, an ophthalmologist detected something strange on an ultrasound and CT scan, but ultimately misdiagnosed it as a cyst.
“Each of us analyzed the reports of our former doctors and acted on them,” lamented the sad senior. “I used to leave their office in tears.”
Only in 2019, according to Domy, did surgery take place in Badajoz, southwest of Madrid, and doctors eventually found and removed the wrong stone.
Attached surgical photos show the literal bulge beneath the surface of her sphere like a grotesque contact lens.
That same year, Domi decided to sue the Extremadura State Health Service, blaming her for her lengthy struggle.
“At that time, I filed a complaint and took appropriate legal action,” Domi declared. Domi will receive $97,000 in court-ordered compensation.
This isn’t the first time someone has been forced to live with a foreign object in their body due to an alleged medical malpractice.
More than 20 years later, a woman finally removed the gauze from her body after a forgetful doctor reportedly left it in her intestines during surgery.
