However, further details of the film’s impact on the human body have been revealed, with 63% of people who came into contact with suicide prevention charity Samaritans during its release week citing the film as a reason to get in touch. Ta.
The national charity received 7,500 calls that week from people inspired by the film to help.
This statistic was revealed after the film won the Big Issue Corporate Cause category at the Smiley Charity Film Awards in London.
The short film, titled ‘You Are Not Alone’, was produced by the club’s in-house media team and was widely praised for its positive impact.
A club spokesperson said: “It’s great that so many people have seen this work and recognized it as a worthy cause.”
