Weight management can be difficult even in the best of times, but the decline in hormones during menopause can make fat loss even more difficult.

Fortunately, dieters have had success losing weight after menopause by making simple dietary adjustments.

Tamara, a 64-year-old health fanatic, recently detailed the eating plan that helped her lose the weight she gained during menopause.

“Today I’m going to show you what I eat in a day to stay slim at 64,” she told her followers. “I’ve never been super overweight, but between the ages of 45 and 55 I was going through menopause and put on 10-15 pounds for a few years.

According to Tamara, the secret is to not focus on losing weight, but to make staying healthy a priority.

“By focusing on eating for health and energy, you can lose weight without dieting, [my weight] For pretty much the last 10 years,” she said.

“I don’t follow any particular diet, I’m not a vegetarian or a carnivore, and I don’t count calories or carbs.

“I eat mostly plant-based foods and try to get a variety of proteins, plants and healthy fats throughout the day. Of course, I try to keep sugar to a minimum, but I do eat dark chocolate regularly.”

“My weight doesn’t seem to change whether I’m working out or not, so I think it’s mainly what I’m eating that’s keeping me at weight.”

breakfast

Tamara starts her day with a bowl of easy oatmeal, packed with superfoods like ground flaxseeds and walnuts to keep her cholesterol in check.

Oatmeal is rich in fiber and various nutrients, and has a filling effect, making it ideal for weight loss.

For lunch, Tamara likes to have chicken sausage for protein, with sauerkraut for antioxidants and fiber.

“In just a few minutes, you’ll have a quick, easy, high-protein, probiotic-rich lunch ready,” the content creator added.
