“Vitamin D is essential for a variety of processes throughout the body, such as bone growth and mineralization,” says Roqueshappa. But you can boost your vitamin D levels quickly by following a few simple tips.

Here are five tips to quickly boost your vitamin D levels.

1. Exposure to sunlight

This is a surefire way to increase your vitamin D levels! “Many foods also contain vitamin D, but sun exposure is the best and most natural way to quickly raise your vitamin D levels,” says Roqueshappa. It begins to absorb sunlight through the body and aids in several bodily processes such as controlling calcium levels, maintaining strong bones, and maintaining a strong immune system.

2. Eat the yolk

In addition to providing a variety of other nutrients, egg yolks contain large amounts of vitamin D, making them an excellent and convenient source. Vegetarians who eat eggs but avoid fish can include them in their diet. Add eggs to your daily diet.

However, according to Roqueshappa, “when lifestyle, inaccessibility or inability to use all else fails, keeping vitamin D levels low is never recommended, so it’s best to make up for the deficiency.” If needed, you can take a multivitamin or vitamin D supplement.Consult your doctor before using supplements.
