A woman is sharing her secret trick for getting medication without going to the doctor in person or using insurance: using Amazon Clinic.
TikTok user Callie Lynn (@watchnsee123) posted a video last week talking about her discovery. “Did you know if you have Amazon Prime there’s a ‘Health’ button at the top right under the search bar?” she says in the video. “I didn’t know that until today. Naive lol,” she writes in a text overlay on the video.
She continues: “And when you press it, it asks you a few questions: If you’re sick, [with] “Let’s say you have strep or sinusitis? You go there and they’ll diagnose your symptoms and send you medicine to your home or the nearest pharmacy. It costs about $29. Did you know that? I didn’t know that either.”
In the caption, Karie Lynn wrote: “I’m sure a lot of people knew about this but I wasn’t one of them. The video has been viewed more than 1.1 million times and has generated over 1,000 comments. Users included: Amazon Clinic Past services.
“Amazon Medical is a great service for those of us without insurance,” one user wrote.
A second user wrote, “Do you know how much this will help people who don’t have insurance? This is amazing.”
A third user said, “I used it to refill a prescription. $30 without insurance. Plus the cost of the meds.”
