Many technology executives are flexible with their fitness plans. But few are as flexible as Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive Software, the video game holding company behind hit games like BioShock, Borderlands and Grand Theft Auto. . Zelnick, 66 and ridiculously rich, goes to the gym twice a day (Equinox is his favorite venue) and has been known to turn business meetings into weightlifting sessions. “I think I have a special responsibility to keep Silicon Valley healthy,” he laughed.
(Several tech executives have told me offhand that Zelnick has locked them into a workout.) When I spoke with Lightspeed Venture Partners investor Moritz Beyer Lenz earlier this year, , he had just finished a grueling Zelnick CrossFit session. “This guy is a beast,” Bayer-Lentz said.)
