“Value-based care” — a familiar, nebulous term with no real definition but universally endorsed — is firmly entrenched in the Wall Street vernacular.
According to financial search engines and databases, the phrase “value-based care” began appearing on corporate earnings calls, presentations, and in the second quarter of 2011, the year after former President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law.
