Listen, we fully expected cottage cheese trends soar this summer. But I’m a little sidetracked by this latest trend featuring cottage cheese and yellow mustard.
TikTok Content Creator Tiffany Elizabeth He claimed that mixing cottage cheese and mustard into dips and eating them with fruits, vegetables and chicken sausage helped him on his weight loss journey.

Across her account, Elizabeth shares videos of herself eating this dish on repeat every day. Her plates include classic healthy dippers like carrots and cauliflower, plus items like palm cores, dragon her fruit, and white potatoes. And most of the time, chicken her sausages are included in her 1-2. In the video, she touted this meal as a staple in a healthy eating pattern, and also said it was the lunch that helped her lose 80 pounds.
Naturally, the Internet is divided. Is this the savory cottage cheese hack we’ve been waiting for, or is this mustard dip an over-the-top cheese food trend? I personally lean towards the latter.

Elizabeth apparently adds 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cottage cheese to her lunch bowl, which adds roughly 6 to 8 grams of protein to this dish. This is not for nothing. But most of the protein in Elizabeth’s lunch combo comes from chicken sausage, adding over 15 grams per link.
