Hafthor Bjornsson Tears His Pec During 252.5-kg (556.7-lb) Bench Press Attempt – Fitness Volt

It’s been a few months Haftor Bjornsson Announced his return to powerlifting. Initially, he wanted to return to weightlifting following his boxing adventures, but that quickly grew into some bigger goals. I decided to break the world record for best low w/lap ever. However, it seems that his exhibition will be shortened, or at least slowed down. Haftor just tore his pectoral muscle.

Wanting to test his strength and technique, Hufsaw Bjornsson organized a powerlifting competition at his gym. The competition took place on his April 15th and ran all day. Hafthaw Bjornsson had never lifted weights like this before, so he was keen to get a PR in his new competition. But when he started dropping prices, I lost 252.5 kilograms (556.7 lb) to my chest and tore my pectoral muscle. This caused a spine-chilling scream from 2018’s World’s Strongest Man to stop only after the spotter lifted the bar from him.

A video of the incident was shared on Instagram by Strongman promoter Julian Howard. The footage clearly shows Haftor’s pectoral muscles separating, along with a tearing sound.

Hafthor Bjornsson will probably reveal the severity of his injury once he has completed all the necessary tests. However, Peck’s tears can take months to heal, and Haftor’s injury appears to be quite serious. expensive.

Hafthor Bjornsson also intended to return to Strongman in 2024, but this injury could affect those plans as well. Given that he had taken two years off for boxing training, Haftor’s risk could have been even greater. While doing so, Hufsaw defeated Eddie Hall in one of the fiercest fights in history. Shortly after the match, Hufsaw realized his love for himself was in his sport of strength.

The first thing Hafso Bjornsson did after retiring from boxing was to break the world record in Strongman. He even broke his own Weight Over Bar record at his 2022 Rogue Invitational.

Hafsø Bjornsson has gone through multiple injuries in his career and has overcome them all successfully. Hopefully he does the same with this and continues where he left off. Bjornsson will no doubt release a statement revealing what his future holds.
