A gym owner from Louisiana shares an adorable lesson about lending a hand.
Katherine Takawirawho owns Ignited Force Gym In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she took care of a member’s baby during a step aerobics class and used the time to post wisdom about the community.
Last month, Takawira shared: video She posted a photo of herself participating in an aerobics class while holding her young child on Instagram, with the child silently jumping up and down along with her. The post received over 117,000 likes.
In the caption, she called the moment “a nod to the incredible strength of mothers who strive to find time for self-care without feeling guilty,” and shared a little more background.
“This week I had the privilege of caring for a member’s young child during @ignitedforce’s step class,” the owner wrote. “It’s a reminder to always be kind. You never know how much of an impact your choice to be kind and lend a hand can make.”
Takawira continued, “I’ve learned a lot about community and customer service over the past few months.
