Ghee or olive oil can ease constipation; quick home remedies | Health

Constipation can be a problem for some people at any time of the year, but summer is at its peak here, and even relieving bowel problems can be difficult. Studies show that the butyric acid in ghee helps relieve constipation and ease bowel movements. Consuming butyric acid improves metabolism and, apart from relieving abdominal pain, bloating, and other symptoms of constipation, increases stool movement and frequency.

According to Dr. Dimple Janda, an Ayurvedic and gut health coach, constipation is caused by an Ayurvedic vata imbalance.

Ghee, fatty oils, and other home remedies for constipation

Dr. Jangda suggests some simple remedies to help with constipation.

1. Include good fatty oils in your diet to lubricate your digestive tract. Include olive oil, avocado oil, or other oils in salads, breads, and soups.



2. Avoid dry snacks and dry packaged food.

3. Avoid meat, eggs, and seafood This is because it takes the longest to digest.

4. Rich in dietary fiber in your diet (preferably steamed rather than raw vegetables, as they can exacerbate dryness).

Five. Mix 1 teaspoon of clarified butter with 200ml of water. Drink on an empty stomach.

6. Mix 200ml of warm plant or dairy-based milk from cruelty-free farms, add 1 teaspoon of clear, unsalted butter, and consume before bed.
