Garrison Women’s Health of Dover NH patient medical records lost

DOVER — medical records for Garrison Women’s Health The patient was recently “subjected to unauthorized third-party activity,” according to information released Friday night. Wentworth Douglas Hospital.

For 4,158 patients, data such as appointment records and some personal health information cannot be restored, according to hospital spokesperson Adam Bagni. The hospital said there was “no evidence” that the information was viewed or obtained, citing a forensic investigation by Global Network Systems, which hosts the records on its servers as his provider of technical services for the hospital.

A statement from Garrison Women’s Health, part of Wentworth Health Partners and located at 770 Central Ave, said it “deeply regrets the concerns this incident may have raised and reassures our patients that we take this matter seriously. I want to assure you,” he said.

Global Network Systems could not be reached immediately for comment.

When were medical records lost?

Global Network Systems became aware of the issue on December 12, according to the hospital. Citing a survey, the technology company said that “certain information about patient care services provided by (Garrison Women’s Health) between April 29, 2022 and December 12, 2022 was not able to access the information. It was subject to unauthorized third party activity and there was no backup available.”
