The World Health Organization said in its annual report that global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased by as much as 25% in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gauri Shinde’s film ‘Dear Zindagi’ is one of the highest rated films of 2016, grossing over Rs 10 crore at the box office. The film revolves around the life of Kayla (according to the Bollywood actress’s essay, Aria Butt) and she struggles with mental health.To help her fight, she meets Jag (according to the essay shah rukh khan) is Kayla’s therapist in the movie. The storyline is beautifully narrated and helps viewers gain knowledge about someone with mental health issues.




Chichore

Starring actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetti, Tushar Pandey and Saharsh Kumar Shukla in the lead roles. It revolves around suicidal tendencies. The film emphasizes the basic principles of maintaining proper mental health and not letting the fear of failing school or college exams lower your self-esteem.

Undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s most beloved screen Jodi, popular actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starred in the movie My Name Is Khan, which was a huge box office success in 2010 . About a man named Rizwan (according to an essay by Shah Rukh Khan) and his struggle with Asperger’s Syndrome. On his journey, he meets a woman named Mandira (as Kajol wrote the essay) who helps him on his journey. The film was directed by popular filmmaker Karan Johar.




Thale Zamin Pa

Taare Zameen Par is a 2007 drama film produced and directed by Aamir Khan. The film stars Khan himself and stars Darshiel Safarily, Tanay Cheda, Sachet Engineer, Vipin Sharma and Tiska Chopra in the lead roles. The film was a commercial success at the box office as it explores the life of his 8-year-old child with dyslexia, Ishaan (Safary) and the struggles of his life. In the film, he is aided by Khan, who helps Ishaan fight his mental health problems.

Starring Deepika Padukone and Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles, the film was a box office hit in 2010 and was a commercial success at the box office. The film’s story revolves around a man named Karthik (as Farhan essayed it) and his mental health issues. During his journey, he is assisted by Shonali (as Deepika Padukone) who helps him get treatment from a therapist.
