by Universalwellnesssystems

Fort Bend County – The Fort Bend County Health Department announced Sunday that the first reported measles incident in 2025 has been confirmed in the county.

Health officials said adult women aged 50 to 60 were involved in the incident. Fort Bend County health officials said the incident was linked to recent international travel and that they were actively investigating the lawsuit.

“We’ve seen a lot of people who have had a lot of trouble with their health,” said Dr. Gale Rohe, director of the Fort Bend County Health Department and local health department. “The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is through vaccination. The MMR vaccine is safe and effective and provides strong protection against measles.”

In a statement released by the county, Fort Bend County Judge KP George urged residents to remain vigilant about symptoms.

“Your safety and happiness remains my number one priority. I urge all residents to check their vaccination records, get vaccinated when necessary, and stay vigilant about their symptoms.
