This drug – known as Relugolix combination therapy or Ryeqo – was approved by the National Institute health Care Excellence (Amazing) for use of the NHS.

This is the first long-term daily tablet approved to treat this condition.

It works by blocking certain hormones that contribute to endometriosis, while also providing the necessary hormone replacement.

Unlike current injectable treatments that can worsen symptoms first, pills can be taken at home.

It also works faster and combines hormones into one pill to reduce the need for clinic visits.

However, Nice said only patients who have tried all other treatment options will be given the pill.

It said the combination drug could help around 1,000 women each year in the UK, suffering from debilitating conditions.

Endometriosis occurs when cells similar to those in the uterus grow in other parts of the body, such as the pelvis, bladder, and intestines.

It can cause severe pain, severe periods of time, fatigue, fertility issues, and can have a major impact on a woman’s life.

It can take up to nine years from the first time a patient is diagnosed with a distress, as symptoms appear in the first place, so millions of endometriosis with symptoms appear.

The traitor star lived in “barbed wire and stabbing”-like pain for 10 years, as GP “laughed out of laughing at his symptoms.”

According to the NHS website, symptoms may resemble other conditions such as uterine fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.

Although there is no known treatment for endometriosis, treatment can help relieve symptoms.

Usually, the first treatment for endometriosis is a hormone injection that temporarily blocks or reduces the body’s production of estrogen, as exposure to this hormone increases endometriosis.

However, patients often need to travel to the hospital to receive the injection, which lasts for up to three months.

The new all-in-one tablet means that patients do not need to take individual hormone replacement medications.

It can be covered up until menopause, but patients can stop using it as soon as they experience side effects.

Nice initially rejected the drug, but its maker, Gedeon Richter, provided new evidence to address questions about efficacy and value money.

This drug will only be available in the NHS for patients with unsuccessful medical or surgical treatment of endometriosis.

Signs that can cause endometriosis

Endometriosis is where cells similar to the cells in the lining of the uterus (uterine) grow in other parts of the body.

Symptoms develop when the endometriosis patch collapses and bleeding but are unable to leave the body.

You may have some symptoms during the period, such as:

  • Severe period pain, it stops you from doing your normal activities
  • A heavy period in which pads and tampons need to be replaced for 1-2 hours or may cause bleeding to the clothes.
  • Pain when pooping or peeing

You can experience other symptoms at any time during your menstrual cycle, such as:

  • Lower stomach and back pain (pelvic area)
  • Pain during or after sex
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Pain and bleeding in other areas such as the chest can cause shortness of breath and can cause blood to vomit

It may also be difficult to get pregnant and may have low mood and anxiety.

Please refer to GP.

Charitable endometriosis said the drug gives patients more options, but it only serves a relatively small number of people.

Helen Knight, Nice’s Director of Drug Evaluation, said:

“Instead of traveling to the clinic for an injection, there is a daily tablet that you can take at home.

“Treatment can also be stopped and started more easily, which is especially important for managing people who are planning to have children and side effects.

“This convenience not only benefits patients, it also reduces pressure on NHS services.”

Charitable Endometriosis Uk said in a statement: history Of the previous medical or surgical treatments of endometriosis, relugolix CT is an alternative option if treatments such as tranexamic acid, hormonal contraceptives, and intrauterine delivery systems are not functioning or inappropriate. ”
