Elaine LaLanne, the first lady of fitness, has revealed her 20-minute workout routine that keeps her as strong as ever at 97 years old.

Elaine, who revolutionized the exercise industry by building a fitness empire with her husband, fitness godfather Jack LaLanne, who passed away in 2011, has maintained her impressive physique and muscle mass over the years.

And the 97-year-old has been sweating it out first thing in the morning with workouts like sit-ups, push-ups, and incline walks to keep her body moving, and she doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

In an interview with The New York Times, the first lady of the fitness industry talked about the workout moves that have helped her stay young and strong.

At 97 years old, she works up a sweat first thing in the morning with workouts like sit-ups and push-ups to keep her body moving, and she doesn’t see her slowing down anytime soon.

The 97-year-old begins by stretching while lying in bed.

She comes out from under the covers but remains in bed to do the first part of her routine.

Then she begins a 20-minute exercise routine.

While on the cover, she does 12 jackknife sit-ups.

This is a low-impact version of a regular sit-up exercise that helps work your lower abdominal muscles.

Then she gets out of bed, walks to the sink, and does some incline push-ups there.

After getting dressed for the day and applying makeup, fitness enthusiasts head to the home gym.

She walks on the slope for a few minutes and sweats.

Next, she grips the handlebars and performs lat pulldowns on a machine that pulls her down to work her back muscles.

And while it may seem like a no-brainer, fitness enthusiasts have revealed that it’s more than enough to keep you looking and feeling your best.

She told the media, “You can get to your destination in just 20 minutes a day.”

While she credits her youthful spirit and great figure to the gym, she also revealed that her mind played a big role.

For decades, the first lady of the fitness industry has made it her daily routine to say these words to herself every morning. “She has to believe she can do it.”

She told the magazine that her beliefs keep her physically and mentally healthy, adding: “It all starts in the mind.”

Elaine said that in addition to moving her body, doing these affirmations kept her feeling younger than she actually was.

Being physically active is also said to help extend your lifespan and reduce your risk of health conditions.

Elaine admitted that she has slowed down a bit in recent years, but said daily movement and decades of going to the gym have helped her recover from multiple falls.

Elaine and Jack spent more than 60 years building a fitness empire with television shows, fitness equipment, supplements, and a gym chain with more than 100 stores.

Now, Elaine is keeping Jack’s memory alive by continuing to emphasize the importance of staying active and positive.

The couple loved intense training and proper nutrition. Jack opened a gym, juice bar, and health food store in 1936 and began teaching people the importance of staying healthy.

The Jack LaLanne Show debuted in 1951, showing people around the world how to perform his exercise routines.

The couple often discussed why they needed to train, and Jack also invented modern exercise machines, including leg extensions and pulleys.
