Finance Minister K N Balagopal Emphasizes the Significance of Homeopathy at International Conference in Kerala | Thiruvananthapuram News

Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister. KN Balagopal began a two-day international conference on Kerala Homeopath Association (IHK) I’m here on Saturday. In his inaugural address, he said that homeopathy has unique importance in the field of treatment but faces unnecessary opposition.
The Minister said he had personally experienced the benefits of homeopathy. However, proponents of homeopathy have also faced criticism. He received criticism when he wrote about the importance of homeopathic treatment during the coronavirus pandemic. He added that more research needs to be conducted in this area over time.
There are around 1,200 government homeopathic clinics in Kerala and every panchayat has a homeopathic treatment center, the minister added.
The event was presided over by Dr. Kothulani Varghese, President, Kerala Homeopaths Association. Dr. Ravi M. Nehru was honored by the Minister at the ceremony. The Best Homeopathic University Award was received by Dr. CK Mohan, Chairman, on behalf of Kulasekaram Sarada Krishna Homeopathic University.
The second day will be opened by Livestock Minister J. Chinchulani at 10am on Sunday. The closing session at 5pm will be opened by M Vincent MLA.
