Kamil Faridi, MD, MScAssistant Professor of Medicine, received the prestigious K23 Career Development Award from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI).

Faridi was hired by Yale University as an Assistant Professor in 2019. He attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine and completed a residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then trained as a Fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. While participating in the fellowship, Faridi was enrolled in the Smith Center for Outcomes His One Year Outcomes in His Research His Fellowship and completed a master’s degree in epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Got.
Faridi’s commitment to results research and implementation science has been widely recognized by her colleagues.he is a member of Yale University School of Medicine Janeway Society He was previously a Yale Center for Clinical Investigations (YCCI) Junior Faculty Scholar.
Jepsha Curtis, M.D.Professor of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, became Faridi’s primary mentor for the award, and his co-mentor was James V. Freeman MD, MPH, MSWhen Harlan Krumholz, MD, SM.

Faridi will continue other ongoing projects in outcomes research.
