Can exercise help recover from a brain tumor?

Walking, swimming, and biking are examples of low-impact aerobic exercise that can help improve cardiovascular health and overall well-being throughout recovery from a brain tumor.

balance and coordination exercises

According to Dr. Sandu, “Yoga, Tai Chi, or certain balance exercises can improve stability and coordination, reduce the risk of falls, and improve general physical performance.”

cognitive training

While recovering from a brain tumor, brain teasers such as puzzles, crosswords, sudoku, and memory games can help stimulate cognitive function, improve memory, and improve concentration.
