There is no doubt that Emily Simpson’s fitness journey has inspired and motivated countless fans.
for the last 9 months, Real Housewives of Orange County Moms are always on Instagram to share workout routines, new eating habits, and daily self-care practices. Her dedication and transparency have received positive feedback, but have also raised questions from those looking to change her life. And thankfully for her fans, Emily is not afraid to respond to such inquiries.
On Saturday, Sept. 2, OC Lawyers conducted another Q&A session, answering questions from Instagram followers.Among her entries are her family life, friendships, and RHOC Most of the castmates focused on health and fitness, including how her exercise habits had changed over the past year and whether she was recording macros.
Emily Simpson’s lifestyle change
“I have always worked out (but I never worked out while filming last season. I will never work out again),” she wrote. “I used to work out 3-4 times a week. I walked a lot. I lift mostly light weights. Now I train 6-7 times a week. Start with 20-30 minutes of cardio, followed by weightlifting for about an hour.”
Emily was then asked whether diet or exercise played the biggest role in changing her body. Emily said she was the former because she spent years working out and didn’t see any physical changes until she improved her diet.
“Change your diet. Change your life,” she replied.
Is Emily Simpson coming for Tamra Judge’s fitness ‘crown’?
As the session continued, another user asked Emily if she had ever considered doing an exhibition about the body like she did. RHOC Castmate Tamura Judge.
“Have you ever thought of a fitness contest,” they wrote. “Take Tamra’s crown?”
What is Emily’s reaction? “Yes… I thought about it.”
Fitness competition judging criteria vary from event to event, but are generally based on muscle definition, body symmetry, posture and size.
It’s unclear if OC’s mother asked Tamra for advice on the possibility of entering the contest, but it’s safe to assume Tamra would be against it.
Will Tamura Judge ever return to competitive fitness?
Tamra’s passion for fitness is well documented at: RHOC. In addition to opening her own gym her CUT Fitness, she has also competed in multiple bodybuilding competitions. A mother of four of her children, she made her fitness competition debut in 2016 and eventually took home her winning trophy. Although she has had a lot of success in the world of competitive fitness, she recently told BravoTV.com that she has no interest in revisiting the sport.
When asked about a possible return, she replied, “No no no no.” “I like that kind of training, but I don’t want to restrict calories. It’s a very dangerous sport. When I went through it, it really messed up my hormones.” […] That’s why I don’t want to experience that kind of thing anymore. It’s not a healthy sport. “
