Action movie star Kate Beckinsale is an avid fitness fan and hits the gym six times a week.
But that wasn’t enough for the 50-year-old, who turned her kitchen into a makeshift exercise space for some extra impromptu training.
The British actress, who is worth an estimated £20 million, shared a video with her six million Instagram followers last week of herself doing strength training exercises while leaning against a kitchen cupboard in a pink sports bra and tracksuit bottoms.
However, she removed it after a while.
This budget workout has been a big change for Kate, pictured left at last year’s Cannes Gala.
Action movie star Kate Beckinsale is a die-hard fitness fan who hits the gym six times a week.
Last week, she shared a video with her six million Instagram followers of herself doing strength training exercises while leaning against a kitchen cabinet in a pink sports bra and tracksuit bottoms.
Her intense exercise regimen often involves weighted sled workouts that burn up to 100 calories per minute, and in 2019 her personal trainer revealed that she hits the gym six days a week, training non-stop for an hour.
The actress suffered a torn esophagus earlier this year, which forced her into hospital for six weeks, but she is now recovering.
She’s in Italy shooting her next film, “Stolen Girl,” based on a true story of child abduction.
Cleo at No. 10 faces new party gates
Cleo Watson, a former aide to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has had to apologise to friends who were hoping for an invite to the publication party for her second political novel, Cleavage.
Cleo, who was nicknamed “Gazelle” during her time at Number 10, had to assuage the hurt of this apparent neglect by explaining that the party she had planned had been cancelled because of the election.
“If I ever had a book launch party, I would invite you all,” she told them. “Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve been accused of accidentally hosting a party.”

This could be awkward! Ellie Goulding is due to sing at a charity event chaired by Zac Goldsmith, despite the pair being former best friends and falling out of touch earlier this year.
Unbeknownst to the Conservative Lords, the pop star had been booked for Thursday’s Ormley dinner.
Ellie Goulding will sing at a charity event chaired by Zac Goldsmith, despite the former best friends losing contact earlier this year.
Their friendship ended when Ellie started dating her surfing instructor, and Zac is now dating Ham Fleming, the great-grandson of 007 creator Ian.
A source said: “Zac has a laid back personality but he doesn’t seem too happy about this.”
We hope she gets her own fashion line!
She announced her pregnancy with a bold fashion statement at the Met Gala in New York last month.
Now, model Adwoa Aboah appears set to launch her own maternity line in collaboration with H&M, the retailer behind the ruffled red skirt and crop top in which she revealed her pregnant belly to the world.
Model Adwoa Aboah may launch her own maternity line with H&M
A source close to the 32-year-old Top Boy star told me she’s in talks with the major chain, saying: “She’s really enjoying her pregnancy and loves showing off her belly. The H&M team are in talks about a capsule collection for her to model for their maternity line.”
Adjoa, who also fronts the mental health charity Girls Talk, is expecting her first child with US skater Daniel Wheatley and a new collection could be ready as early as this summer.
Fashion designer Alice Temperley might want to change her name to Dr Dolittle because her love of rescuing animals seems never-ending.
Last year I revealed that Alice, a favourite of the Princess of Wales, kept field mice and now I can report that she has picked up a peacock that was chasing a car.
The peacock stayed at Alice’s house for a while and then flew back to its owner across the field.
Fashion designer Alice Temperley posted a photo of her pet peacock on Instagram.
Rapper Professor Green appears to have rekindled his romance with ex-fiancée Karima McAdams five months after their split.
The couple, who have been together for five years and have a three-year-old son together, looked happier than ever at the opening of Maison Diptyque’s new store in London.
Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, was previously married to Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh.
Socialite and artist Nettie Wakefield is backing a campaign to stop tech giants Facebook and Instagram from using people’s photos on social media to “develop and improve” AI tools.
While the option to opt out of the scheme has not received much attention, Nettie (left) told me, “It seems like AI is being automatically trained on everything we do on social media platforms.”

It’s certainly a frightening prospect for some, and Nettie, who has previously been romantically linked to Poldark star Aidan Turner and TV presenter Alex Zane, is vehemently opposed to the idea.
How? By posting it to Instagram, of course!
Nut’s hiding place
She’s used to having all the attention on her, so why was Natalie Portman visibly camera-scared during a visit to the Beatles museum in Liverpool?
The Hollywood star banned staff, including museum owner Rogue Best (brother of former Beatles drummer Pete Best), from taking photos of her at the venue.
It also meant that the 42-year-old would not be added to the museum’s wall-of-honor-style gallery of famous faces.
The museum’s social media pages subsequently criticised the “Black Swan” actress (right), who appeared in Sir Paul McCartney’s music video, for her silence, with fans criticising her behaviour.

The owners of Drayton House in Northamptonshire, where the dark comedy Saltburn was filmed, have complained about the unwanted attention the film has brought them.
But Fiona, Countess of Carnarvon and owner of Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey), has little sympathy. Rather wisely, Countess Carnarvon says: “Obviously if you do something like a film, there’s a chance that it will attract attention, so if you don’t want attention then maybe you shouldn’t be in a film. It’s the logical progression of the thought process.”
The cast and crew of Downton have descended on Highclere again to film the third series, much to Fiona’s delight.
“I’m so glad to have everyone back,” she told me, gushing about the catering coffee cart.
