Ella Emhoff opened up about her mental health struggles in a risqué Instagram post.

The activist and fashion designer, 25, appeared distraught on Wednesday after her stepmother Kamala Harris’ heartbreaking presidential campaign.

Ella shared images of herself looking devastated, crying openly with campaign staff and her family.

On Saturday, she published a curse-filled post on Instagram. The outburst appears to have been sparked by a widely circulated post spreading cruel rumors suggesting that X had been admitted to a mental health facility.

Later, this rumor was proven to be fake news, and Ella herself revealed the truth.

“There are rumors that I went insane and was admitted to the hospital. That’s not true,” Ella wrote.

“If you spread that, you’re fucked too. There’s nothing wrong with showing emotion and crying. People who say they are probably need to shout it out loud,” she added.

“I’ve struggled with mental health all my life and I’m not ashamed of it,” Ella admitted.

This heartless rumor prompted Ella’s mother, Kirstin Emhoff, to take on X and bash the people who spread it.

“More MAGA BS against my family. Leave my kids alone!!! Ella is doing great and having a wonderful day with her mom!” Kirstin wrote.

“Having the ability to express your emotions is something we should all want. It’s okay if you don’t feel good right now. We won’t let anyone destroy our family.” she added.

“I really have no words,” she captioned the post. “We’re all going to get through this. It hurts like hell right now, but it’s going to be okay.”

“I know we’re all feeling a lot of emotions right now. It’s normal and it would be weird if we weren’t. I’ve been through cycles of sadness, anger, stress about 10 times. I think so, but that was this morning.

“I think it’s important to feel everything so it doesn’t fester on the inside.

“One of the ways I always feel better is to use that anger and sadness to be creative. I know that’s not the case for everyone. When things are so uncertain, Once you feel it, it can be really hard to create.”

“This is not what we wanted,” Harris tearfully told supporters gathered at her alma mater, Howard University, as she took to the stage.

Harris waited until the afternoon of the day after the election to deliver her concession speech.

“To my dearest Doug and our family, we love you so much,” she told the crowd at her alma mater, Howard University.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff was seen with his arm tightly around his daughter and cradling his son Cole.

And Harris’ family wasn’t the only one clearly upset. His running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, also seemed to be holding back tears as the incumbent vice president expressed his gratitude to him and his family.

Doug Emhoff continued to pat Walz on the back as the assembled crowd cheered them on.
