EastEnder Praises by mental health charities heart For this week’s special Phil Mitchell episode.
In Thursday’s installment, SOAP highlighted the month in the mental health unit after it decided to leave viewers from Walford and accept help with depression and suicide thoughts.
He initially reluctant to attend group activities and therapy sessions, but eventually began to be open about his feelings towards fellow patient Gaz.

Phil gets a big morning-up call as Gaz tried to take his life. This admitted he was hiding from his family, fearing he would leave the unit without support.
He decided to engage in the care provided by the hospital before draining himself. Equipped with new tools to deal with his mental health.
Dr. Sarah Hughes, CEO of Key Mental Health Charity Minds, responded to this special episode, saying in a statement:
“We need to talk urgently about the state of mental health care in the UK, so the whole thing is EastEnder The episodes dedicated to stories about inpatient care were more unrelated.

“Things are pretty bleak for the mental health of the country right now, so we also need to listen to hopeful stories. We know what it looks like because there’s great mental health support there and it has a huge impact on seeing it come back to life on screen.”
She continued: “Mind’s Media Advisory Services have worked closely with other organizations. EastEnder The team in this episode will help you get a good understanding of the story of what it is like for a man experiencing symptoms of suicide or psychosis.

“These experiences are sadly becoming more and more common, so we need a more Phil-like storyline than ever before.”
There’s also a 5-minute episode EastEnder Set up your mental health unit. This will appear during BBC One’s tonight’s Comic Relief fundraiser.
In the exclusive clip, Phil becomes friends with another patient called Andy.
EastEnder It airs on Monday – Thursday at 7:30pm BBC One. The show is also streamed on the BBC iPlayer, with most episodes dropping early at 6am on TV.
