Denise Austin was spotted sitting on the grass in a black swimsuit.

Her caption reads: She shared her best health tip: take care of yourself.

“#WellnessWednesday Tip!! Take care of yourself first! I know this doesn’t come naturally to many of you, but it actually allows you to better care for those around you,” Denise said. “Don’t feel like doing something for yourself is selfish, it’s necessary! The 67-year-old has been on a fitness spree since becoming a health and wellness guru in 1980.

In fact, the day before, the fitness instructor I shared some of my moves at home. With her followers.

Denise Austin sat on the grass in a black swimsuit and shared her best advice about taking care of yourself.

“Strength Tuesday!!! 3 exercises you can do with no equipment!!” Denise wrote. “These moves will work your butt, legs, entire core, and inner and outer thighs. Just 1 minute each will get your body burning. I love that these workouts can be done anywhere!!!”

Denise has been helping women get healthier for over 40 years and now she’s sharing her tips and tricks for staying healthy even after turning 50.

“I’m 66 now, so I’m dedicated to women over 50 who want to stay healthy. I want people to be healthy,” she said. Fox News Digital In January. “Wake up happy and strong. To get stronger and feel better, you need to work 640 muscles from your head to your toes.”

Dennis blames it on a healthy lifestyle.

“Just do what makes you feel good,” she noted. “I like to walk for fitness, I like to do light weight training to get strong and stay strong, and I also like stretching and yoga. It’s really great to combine those things so that you can do wonders for different muscle groups and keep it all going instead of plateauing.”

Dennis added that if you love your job, you can’t make mistakes.

“Whether it’s pickleball, tennis, or any kind of fitness, if you enjoy what you do, I recommend just moving your body,” she says. “Move as often as you can. Standing burns more calories than sitting.”

Dennis, who is widely known for her various workout DVDs, also revealed her easy tips for losing weight and keeping it off.

“Strength Tuesday!!! 3 exercises you can do with no equipment!!” the fitness guru shared on Instagram alongside a workout video.

“My favorite tip I tell people is to improve your posture. Your posture says a lot about you,” she confessed. “If you slouch, your belly has no choice but to stick out. But if you sit up straight, you can pull your shoulders down and back and tighten your abs.”

And this movement can be done anywhere, anytime.

“Keeping your spine healthy is so important,” Denise adds, “and then while you’re standing tall, tighten your stomach for five seconds – that’s the equivalent of one sit-up – so you’re doing isometric movements throughout the day that really work your muscles.”

The 67-year-old shared her favourite fitness secret: “My favourite tip that I tell everyone is good posture. Posture says a lot about you. If you slouch, the first thing your belly has to do is stick out. But if you sit up straight, you can pull your shoulders down and back and tighten your abs.”

But for the Denise Austin Daily Workout alum, staying active is a gift not just to our physical health, but to our mental health too.

Dennis starts his day with a 30-minute workout.

“It actually keeps you going all day because it makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something,” she told the outlet. “It’s a great sense of self-achievement, so to have someone say, ‘Hey, I did 10 minutes today,’ that’s great. Start small. If you haven’t exercised in years, start with walking around the block for 10 minutes and work your way up. That will help you get healthier.”

Why does she exercise in the morning? Denise says, “When I work out in the morning, I don’t have to worry about it during the day. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Plus, by dinnertime, I want to be able to cook dinner and have a glass of wine.”

The trailblazer starts each day with a 30-minute workout, explaining: “Working out makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something and gives me energy for the rest of the day.”

The exercise expert shared a bit of his perspective on people who use the type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight.

“I always tell women, ‘Just stay healthy. Do things that build muscle.’ Muscle is so important,” she reiterated. “Muscle does miracles for your metabolism. So to build muscle and fight osteoporosis and keep you young, if your muscles are properly toned and firm, they’re not going to sag and sag. So whatever you do, make sure you’re doing exercises that build muscle. Muscle is key to keeping us young and healthy.”

Whether people turn to medication or not, Dennis urges them to keep the heat high.

The fitness business has become a family business, with the star’s daughter, Katie Austin, taking over the business.

“You still need cardio to train your heart,” she continues. “The heart is a muscle like your biceps, so you need cardio to train your heart. Then you need to do strength training to tone your muscles, and improve your flexibility. Stretching. Stretching, toning, and aerobic exercise like walking are all important parts of a total health program.”

Meanwhile, the fitness business has become a family affair for the pioneer, with Denise’s daughter, Katie Austin, following in her mother’s footsteps.

“It’s a dream come true to have my daughter Katie following in my fitness footsteps – she’s amazing,” Denise said. “Now she’s mentoring me, which is awesome and inspiring.”

“It’s a dream come true that my daughter Katie is following in my fitness footsteps. She’s so amazing,” the author enthused. “She mentors me and is so awesome and inspiring.”

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has her own fitness app and teaches classes both in-person and virtually.

Earlier this month, the mother-daughter duo visited New York to host a class together.

“Wow… what an amazing day yesterday!” Dennis captioned the photo. Class photos“I’ve been teaching in New York City. Two of my classes have been sold out. It’s been amazing to connect with so many amazing women and feel their love. And it’s been so great to experience all of this with my daughter. Mothers and daughters came from near and far to come work out with us, it was amazing. It was a dream come true.”
