Asia’s largest health and fitness festival, the much-awaited International Health, Sports and Fitness Festival (IHFF) will be held again from June 7 to June 9 at Pragati Maidan in the national capital.
IHFF boasts strong partnerships with the highlight of the mega events – Steadfast Nutrition Pro Show, Asia’s largest bodybuilding championship, and Sheru Classic Pro Qualifiers, India’s largest bodybuilding competition for amateur athletes.
The championships and expo are expected to attract around 150,000 spectators and feature over 500 athletes. The IHFF will feature over 250 exhibitors.
Asked about the significance of these championships, Aman Puri, Founder, Steadfast Nutrition said, “The show is a landmark event for Indian bodybuilding and is India’s only pathway to the world’s most prestigious bodybuilding championship, Mr Olympia in the US, providing a life-changing opportunity to Indian bodybuilding athletes. Past champions like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Phil Health cemented their legendary status on this very stage. Steadfast is the first brand in India to host a professional show on its own soil. Winning here opens up sponsorships, huge prize money and international recognition for our dedicated athletes. “Shell Classic is India’s largest bodybuilding event for amateur athletes, bringing together fitness enthusiasts and amateurs and garnering global attention. The event promotes physical fitness and contributes towards a healthier and more active nation,” added Aman Puri.
Additionally, international bodybuilding sensation and current Mr. Olympia Ryan Terry will also be in attendance. More than 200 international athletes are expected to participate, making this a global celebration of fitness.
The event is expected to become a hub for fitness expertise, networking and knowledge exchange, making it an essential event for those involved in the fitness and nutritional supplements industries.
The Steadfast Nutrition Pro Show will crown four winners in each of the following categories: Men’s Physique, Men’s Classic Physique, Women’s Bikini and 212 Bodybuilding.
The IHFF isn’t just for seasoned professionals. Organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding (IFBB), which governs bodybuilding championships around the world, the Sheru Classic is significant because it gives amateurs a life-changing opportunity to earn a pro card, catapulting them onto the professional circuit with sponsorship, prize money and exciting career opportunities. Ten IFBB pro cards will be given away at the Sheru Classic.
Apart from the Pro Show and Shell Classic, this year’s IHFF will also feature several competitions, including Pro Panja Arm Wrestling, Powerlifting and Strongman Championships.
