Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, speaking at the foundation day event of the All India Institute of Ayurveda on Thursday, described himself as an Ayurveda enthusiast. The CJI, who was the chief guest at the World Conference on Ayurveda, said his association with AYUSH began during the second and third waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, he was not taking any symptomatic medication. He said he turned to Ayurveda again when he was diagnosed with the flu six weeks ago. CJI Chandrachud also said that he is a supporter of Panchakarma (Ayurvedic detox therapy) and undergoes treatment every year.
