The Sentara Scholars Scholarship provides financial assistance to approximately 60 students in Virginia.
The George Mason University School of Public Health is pleased to announce the Sentara Scholarship Scholarship. Sentara Healthcare, which provides tuition assistance to students interested in careers in healthcare. Her $250,000 donation of Sentara will provide scholarships to about 60 Virginia students in the spring and fall of 2023. health care and policy; nutrition and food studies; and social work; and nursing school may apply.
“Removing the financial barriers to pursuing a degree in public health is a top priority for the College of Public Health. Our goal is to help enhance the education of future healthcare professionals,” said Melissa Perry, dean of the School of Public Health. “The Sentara Scholars Scholarship provides additional support for students whose career goal is to improve the health of others. We look forward to working with Sentara to foster student success.” ”
Sentara presented the college with a check for $250,000 in celebratory public health on March 25.
