For Claudia Oshry, the most difficult part of Ozempic’s journey was coming off weight loss drugs.
The Girl With No Job creator reflected on her decision to stop taking semaglutide in an interview with Page Six on Thursday to celebrate the six-year anniversary of her and her sister Jackie Oshley’s podcast. “cheers”.
“I feel great,” gushed Claudia, 29, of her post-Ozempic experience, which helped her lose more than 70 pounds and stopped taking it about five months ago.
“When I was at Ozempic, I think my biggest fear was leaving Ozempic,” she recalled. “People always ask, ‘So what are you going to do?'” [I’d say]”I don’t know, but I’ll find out.”
Claudia said she finally found a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle by turning to Weight Watchers, a high-protein diet, and regular exercise.
The “strong” podcaster is “very relieved” that he now has a “really balanced life”, explaining: It was something I always thought about, but at the time I was just trying to focus on my journey. ”
Claudia said she believes it is “doable” for anyone to leave Ozempic once good habits are formed.
“I was the least likely to end up like this,” she told us. “I…laziness, obesity, bad choices, the absolute worst. [a] lack of willpower. So I’m…proud of myself. ”
Claudia said that before her weight loss journey began, her mental state was “always very good” and she was very confident in herself.
“I think a lot of people’s weight affects their relationships and their jobs. They’re afraid to take risks,” she says, adding that she’ll always be “the same annoying girl” he joked.
Although Claudia didn’t “feel any different” due to changes in her appearance, she did notice an increase in her physical energy.
“I would say it’s one of the best feelings,” she said. “I didn’t even know how different my life would be.”
Claudia went on to say that the “witch hunt” over who is using Ozempic in Hollywood needs to end.
“If a doctor prescribes a drug to a human celebrity, that’s literally none of our business,” she said. “The speculation… really bothers me, because what’s going on between someone and their doctor is literally none of your business.
“And if they look thinner and you think that’s good for you, then move on,” Claudia continued. “Focus on yourself.”
The social media star started taking Ozempic in September 2022 and told podcast listeners about her trip in August of the following year.
“Why I’m nervous about sharing [how much I’ve lost] “It’s because I’m ashamed of myself for getting to the point where I had to lose 70 pounds,” she tearfully said in an episode of “The Toast” on Patreon.
Last month, Claudia said she felt less full after stopping her diabetes medication.
“I’ve been away from Ozempiku since November, but Mom, I’m always hungry during King’s time,” she said. I said it on TikTok at that time.
“I’m always looking for a tasty snack, because I’m still trying to lose weight, but on my own.” And I’m always looking for a snack or something to fill my stomach. ”
Luckily, Claudia tells Page Six things are finally looking good and she’s even ready to run a 5K in May.
“Especially if you’ve never really exercised in your life,” she said of the 5.1-mile run. “So what I’m saying is that one person’s 5K is another person’s marathon.”
Claudia added that she was running at a “steady” 13-minute mile pace and had a music playlist ready.
This weekend, Claudia and Jackie celebrated their podcast milestone with a glamorous soirée surrounded by friends and family at Zero Bond, a members-only club in New York City.
