Bumstead’s illustrious career began in 2017. Since then, “CBum” has grown to become one of the most famous fitness celebrities on the planet, with the most wins in Classic Physique “O” in the history of the division.
Chris Bumstead on retirement: ‘I hope I set the standard’
Bumstead’s retirement from classic physique came as no surprise. Fans have long suspected that Bumstead, who is nearing 30, would hang up his lifting belt after another victory in the sport’s most prestigious competition.

The champion did not explicitly mention his immediate plans after the 2024 Olympia. One thing is for sure: next year will be a whole new ball game.
