For one week each August, federally accredited, nonprofit health centers hold a national public health event as a way to highlight their efforts in providing primary health care to their communities, as well as to honor their health care team members. Celebrate Health Center Week.
This year, it will be held from August 7th to 12th, with a different theme for each day of the week. Several community events are planned for the Lehigh Valley Neighborhood Health Center, the region’s first federally accredited health center. Each event is free and open to the public. The NHCLV operates four community health centers that provide primary care at its downtown Allentown location at 160 Hamilton Street. Northside Bethlehem, 635 E. Broad St. South Bethlehem, 1210 E. Fourth St., lower level of Donegan Elementary School. In the Two Rivers Health and Wellness Building, 1101 Northampton Street, Easton, West Ward. All health centers are open to the public. Treat patients with or without health insurance.
Health care for the homeless Available August 8th from 11am to 3pm at:

patient appreciation day It will be held at all four NHCLV Health Center locations on August 9 from 8am to 4pm. Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, raffle prizes and giveaways from our NHCLV partners. Plus free magic acts for kids by The Magic of Sasso.
children’s health day will take place on August 12 from 9am to 1pm at NHCLV Downtown locations in Allentown (160 Hamilton Street) and North Bethlehem (635 East Broad Street) only.

NHCLV was formally incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit organization in 2004 to meet the needs of a coordinated primary care system for the uninsured and underinsured residents of the Lehigh Valley.
